UPDATE, Jan. 6: Intermittent lane closures are expected on Moores Mill Road between Godfrey Lane and Sherwood Drive today, Jan. 6, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Water Resource Management Department will be repairing a driveway and sidewalk in the area following sanitary sewer repairs.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area. The City appreciates the public's patience as this work is completed.

Dec. 23: AUBURN, Ala.- Moores Mill Road between Godfrey Lane and Sherwood Drive will be closed on Monday, Dec. 29, while the Water Resource Management Department makes sanitary sewer repairs in the area.

Work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 29. Intermittent lane closures are expected on Dec. 30 while crews restore the roadway.

All residences in the area will remain accessible during the work. Signage will be in place to detour motorists around the closure.

Drivers are advised to use caution and to take alternate routes to avoid delays. The City of Auburn appreciates the public's patience during this necessary infrastructure repair.
